The Wote Afya Bora Organisation, or WABO for short, is a local Kenyan officially registred NGO active in the Kakamega region. Wote Afya Bora, loosely translated to english as; Better Health for All, reflects our mission and purpose. Our organisation consists of a team, of which 5  are board members. 5 Kenyan board members are complemented by an International Coordinator from the Netherlands.

WABO has emerged from the Community Health Awareness and Jigger Proyect which has been in operation since 2016. An encounter that hugely inspired us in 2016 was when we were on a community volunteering program attending an old mother with a child infected with jiggers.  This made us engaged and sparked willingness to offer support to eradicate jiggers in our society and it became our passion. In 2025 we decided we could increase our impact by becoming an NGO. In december 2025 we obtained official NGO status under the name "Wote Afya Bora Organisation".

Whilst operating as community health initiative we have:

      - Created awareness to over 20,000 beneficiaries in the past  10 years through outreach programs
      - Treated over 15,000 individuals infected with jiggers
      - Offered prevention services in over 700 households
      - Reached out to over 500 schools
